• Follow food safety protocols to ensure all products are handled and stored properly
• Assist in food preparation tasks such as measuring ingredients, mixing, and assembling baked items
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace to uphold hygiene standards
• Package baked goods efficiently for display or customer purchase while ensuring freshness
• Provide excellent customer service by answering questions about products and offering recommendations when needed

Requirements

• Prior experience in a bakery, restaurant, or food service environment is preferred
• Knowledge of food handling, safety procedures, and kitchen sanitation practices
• Skills in cake decorating, food preparation, and general baking techniques
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining attention to detail
• Strong communication skills with a focus on customer service excellence
• Experience with food packaging and presentation is a plus
• Flexibility to work full-time hours including weekends and early mornings as required
