Full-Time Barista – Award-Winning Café in Gillingham

We are looking for a friendly, reliable and enthusiastic Full-Time Barista to join our vibrant team at Gillingham’s highest-rated café, proudly voted Best Café, Best Restaurant, and Best Business in the area.

This is a weekday role (Monday to Friday), ideal for someone looking for consistent hours in a welcoming, fast-paced and supportive environment. Whether you’re an early riser or prefer a later start, we offer two shift options. If you’re passionate about coffee, customer service, and being part of a close-knit team, we’d love to hear from you. Previous experience is beneficial but not essential, as full training will be provided.

There may also be opportunities to pick up additional hours during our popular cocktail nights:

• Fridays: 4pm – 11pm

Pay

• National Minimum Wage, dependent on age

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a wide range of hot and cold drinks, including speciality coffees, to our high standards
• Deliver warm, friendly and professional customer service at all times
• Create a welcoming atmosphere for every customer
• Maintain excellent cleanliness and organisation across all work areas
• Follow all food safety and hygiene regulations
• Operate coffee machines, blenders and other equipment safely and efficiently
• Handle cash and card transactions accurately using the POS system
• Restock supplies and assist with basic food preparation when required
• Work efficiently during busy periods, ensuring prompt and high-quality service
• Handle special requests and dietary requirements with care and attention
• Cook and Prepare Food orders when needed.
