Full Time Barista

JOB DESCRIPTION: BARISTA

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee, beverages, and other menu items while providing excellent customer service. The role ensures the cleanliness of the coffee station, maintains product quality, and creates a welcoming experience for customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Prepare Beverages – Prepare and serve coffee, tea, espresso-based drinks, and other beverages according to company standards and customer preferences.
• Customer Service – Greet customers, take orders, answer inquiries, and provide friendly and efficient service.
• Order Processing – Accurately record customer orders, handle payments, and operate the POS or cash register when required.
• Food and Beverage Quality – Ensure all beverages and food items meet quality, presentation, and serving standards.
• Equipment Maintenance – Operate, clean, and maintain coffee machines, grinders, blenders, and other equipment.
• Cleanliness and Sanitation – Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the counter, preparation area, dining area, and other assigned workspaces.
• Inventory Management – Monitor stocks of coffee beans, milk, syrups, cups, and other supplies, and report low stock levels to the supervisor.
• Cash Handling – Handle cash and other payment transactions accurately and follow established cash-handling procedures.
• Compliance – Follow company policies, food safety regulations, sanitation standards, and operational procedures.
• Teamwork – Coordinate with co-workers and supervisors to ensure smooth daily operations.
• Other Duties – Perform other related tasks assigned by the immediate supervisor or management.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or college-level education; a hospitality-related course is an advantage.
• Previous experience as a barista or in food and beverage service is an advantage.
• Knowledge of coffee preparation, beverage recipes, and coffee-making equipment is preferred.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Honest, reliable, responsible, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Willingness to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays as required.
• Physically capable of standing for extended periods and performing daily operational tasks.

Pay: Php15,000.00 - Php18,000.00 per month
