About the Position

Bookclub Coffee is looking for an experienced, reliable, friendly, hardworking, and respectful Full-Time Barista to join our team.

Applicants must have previous café or restaurant experience. We are looking for someone with a good attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work efficiently in a busy café environment.

The ideal candidate is punctual, responsive to messages, willing to learn, and flexible enough to work different shifts, including early morning openings, mid shifts, and closing shifts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve quality coffee, beverages, and food items according to our standards.
• Provide warm, friendly, and professional customer service.
• Perform regular inventory counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation throughout the café, including the bar, seating area, equipment, and work areas.
• Perform opening duties, restocking, and bar setup efficiently.
• Maintain smooth workflow and quality control during busy hours.
• Work cooperatively and respectfully with the team.
• Follow café procedures, recipes, and service standards.
• Assist with daily café operations and other tasks as needed.
• Be flexible with shift assignments based on café requirements.

Qualifications

• Must have previous café or restaurant work experience.
• Must be available to work 6 days a week, with 1 rest day.
• Must be available for varying shifts, including opening, mid, and closing shifts.
• Must be able to report for early morning shifts before 7:00 AM when scheduled.
• Strictly punctual: Must consistently arrive on time for every scheduled shift.
• Reliable, responsible, clean, organized, and detail-oriented.
• Must have a good attitude and be respectful toward customers, coworkers, and management.
• Willing to learn, accept feedback, and follow café procedures.
• Strong work ethic and good communication skills.
• Responsive to messages and able to communicate promptly regarding work schedules.
• Able to work quickly and efficiently during peak hours.
• Able to work independently while cooperating well with the team.
• Basic coffee knowledge is expected. Latte art skills are welcome but optional.

Training Period and Rate

• The first month will be considered the training period.
• The training rate is ₱72 per hour.
• During training, the employee will learn and follow Bookclub Coffee's standards, recipes, service procedures, and daily operations.
• Performance, punctuality, attitude, and ability to follow procedures will be evaluated throughout the training period.

Important Notes

This position requires relevant work experience, flexibility, strict punctuality, reliable attendance, quick communication, a positive attitude, and respectful behavior.

We are looking for someone who can commit to a full-time schedule, work well with the team, and contribute to the smooth daily operations of Bookclub Coffee.

Only applicants with previous café or restaurant experience who can commit to a 6-day workweek and varying shifts will be considered.

Pay: Php18,000.00 per month
