Full time Bartender

Job Summary

Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer preferences.
• Greet guests warmly, take orders accurately, and serve drinks promptly to ensure a positive guest experience.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar area, including glassware, utensils, and work surfaces.
• Monitor guest behaviour to promote responsible drinking and ensure compliance with licensing laws.
• Handle cash transactions accurately and operate the point-of-sale system efficiently.
• Restock bar supplies as needed, including alcohol, mixers, garnishes, and other essentials.
• Engage with guests to create a welcoming atmosphere while adhering to health and safety regulations related to food safety and hygiene standards.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in hospitality or as a bartender is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and responsible alcohol service is advantageous.
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Excellent time management skills to handle busy service periods effectively.
• Good communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanour.
• Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• A positive attitude with a passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
