Full-Time Behavior Technician

We are clinic based so no traveling between clients' homes. You get to work in clinic with a collaborative team on-site every day

What You Will Do

As a Behavior Technician, you will work 1-on-1 with clients in a supportive clinic environment, implementing behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs).

• Deliver 1-on-1 behavior analytic programs to children with autism
• Accurately collect and record daily session data
• Remaining engaged & encouraging your client throughout session
• Complete skill acquisition through play-based learning, social skills, and positive reinforcement
• Follow the direction of the client and maximize on their most reinforcing items to provide learning and social skill opportunities

Who Will Thrive With Us?

• Having experience working with children or individuals with developmental disorders, especially autism spectrum disorder
• Strong ability to collect, analyze, and report data effectively
• Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration
• Having the passion for working with children, high energy, and a playful, patient approach to daily therapy
• Having compassion for children and families navigating autism and developmental delays
• Collaborating with BCBAs and fellow techs to create a positive, low-stress space for everyone

Qualifications

• Ability to pass a standard background check
• At least 18 years old
• Reliable transportation
• High school diploma required; college coursework, a degree in Psychology, Education, or a related field is not required but preferred
• An active RBT certification is awesome, but not required, we provide fully paid training!
• You are available Monday - Friday 8:00 am – 4:00 pm

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
