Duties

• Clear and reset tables efficiently to prepare for new guests, ensuring a smooth flow of service
• Assist with food and beverage delivery by bussing tables promptly and accurately
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning dishes, utensils, glassware, and restaurant surfaces according to sanitation standards
• Handle manual tasks such as heavy lifting of trays, chairs, and supplies following safe lifting practices
• Support the kitchen staff with basic food handling and catering setup when needed
• Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and management to coordinate service needs
• Ensure all areas are sanitized regularly to uphold food safety and hygiene standards

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred
• Strong cleaning and sanitation skills to maintain a hygienic dining area
• Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely, including heavy lifting and prolonged standing
• Excellent communication skills for internal team coordination and customer interaction
• Knowledge of table setting, serving etiquette, and food safety protocols
• Hospitality or catering experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm for learning is key
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
