Full Time Carer

Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Full Time Carer to provide exceptional support and care to individuals in need of assistance. Duties

• Assist clients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility to ensure comfort and safety
• Provide patient care including medication administration, health monitoring, and basic nursing support in accordance with care plans
• Support clients with meal preparation, nutrition needs, and hydration to promote healthy living
• Manage behavior and provide emotional support for individuals with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other cognitive challenges
• Facilitate engaging activities and companionship to enhance mental stimulation and social interaction
• Assist with light housekeeping tasks related to personal spaces and living environments
• Support transportation needs by driving clients to appointments or outings when required
• Follow all safety protocols including first aid procedures and emergency response plans

Requirements

• Proven experience in assisted living, nursing homes, or home care environments demonstrating patient-centered care
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for transportation duties
• Strong skills in behavior management and medication administration
• First aid certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect empathetically with clients of all ages, including children if applicable
