Francis Venues is seeking an experienced Commis Chef to join our team at the Award winning Kealba Hotel located in St Albans.

About You

You will have:

• A recognised Chef qualification with at least 2 years' experience.
• A strong understanding of food safety and workplace health and safety.
• Experience in a fast-paced commercial kitchen.
• The ability to work well under pressure and as part of a team.
• High standards of food quality and presentation.
• Availability to work a rotating 7-day roster, including weekends and public holidays.
• A reliable, positive, and hardworking attitude.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with menu planning and daily specials.
• Prepare and organise daily kitchen prep.
• Assist with stock control and food costing.
• Maintain food safety and kitchen compliance standards.
• Deliver consistently high-quality meals as part of a collaborative kitchen team.
