Full-Time Cook

City Club at River Ranch is seeking a line cook join our team!

Primary Function: Responsible for preparing and/or directing the preparation of food to be served complying with all applicable sanitation, health, and personal hygiene standards, as well as adhering to established food production procedures. Cook will also utilize appropriate supplies and equipment safely and minimize loss and waste.

Essential Job Functions:

• Correctly prepare all food served following standard recipes and special diet orders.
• Plan food production to coordinate with meal serving hours so that excellence, quality, temperature, and appearance of food will be preserved.
• Apportion food for serving.
• Maintain daily production records.
• Keep work area neat and clean at all times; clean and maintain equipment used in food preparation.
• Prepares and/or directs the preparation of food
• Completes food temperature and food safety check before service
• Maintains daily production records
• Follows standard recipes and special diet orders
• Reports equipment failures and/or safety issues in the kitchen and food service area
• Maintains a clean work area
• Works as a Team and independently
• Must complete open and close procedures when assigned
• Promotes good public relations concerning the overall Club and Club offerings
• Must have reliable transportation.

Job Type: Full-time

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
