Full-time CSC-AD

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic full-time CSC-AD (Certified Supervised Counselor - Alcohol & Drug) or above to join our Level 3.1 residential SUD treatment program. In this vital role, you will provide group and individual substance abuse counseling and mental health support to adult males in a residential setting, fostering recovery and resilience. Your expertise will help clients navigate their treatment journey through evidence-based therapies, crisis intervention, and personalized case management. Duties

• Conduct thorough intake assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and ongoing patient assessments to develop individualized treatment plans.
• Deliver individual and group counseling sessions utilizing behavioral therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, and trauma-informed approaches.
• Manage crisis situations with prompt crisis intervention and crisis management techniques to ensure client safety and stability.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation, group and individual counseling notes, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams—including medical professionals, mental health providers, and families—to coordinate effective treatment planning and case management.

Qualifications

• Must have valid CSC-AD (or above) with the Maryland Board of Professional Counselors & Therapists
• Strong skills in crisis intervention, conflict management, crisis management, and behavioral health techniques, or willingness to learn.
• Willingness to learn medical terminology, medical records management, clinical documentation standards, and HIPAA compliance.
• Excellent communication skills for client engagement and multidisciplinary team collaboration.
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with professionalism while maintaining a positive attitude toward recovery goals.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
