The Role Itself

• Supervises MHT’s, delegating tasks and monitoring patients for changes in condition.
• Follows hospital policy for medication administration and transcribes/administers physician orders accurately.
• Delivers quality nursing care, ensuring treatment plan goals are executed, and documents patient progress.
• Interacts with patients and groups, enhancing communication and upholding patient rights.
• Monitors detox protocols and communicates patient responses to the Interdisciplinary Treatment Team. Orientates patients/families to the program, preserves confidentiality.

Education:

• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program or relevant state licensure
• Open to New Grad. Must be 21yrs or older.

License:

• Current unencumbered license to practice by the State Board of Nursing. Licensed Practical Nurse
