Duties

• Prepare and assemble a variety of deli foods, including sandwiches, salads, and specialty items, ensuring quality and presentation standards are met
• Engage with customers by taking orders, upselling products, and providing product recommendations to enhance their shopping experience
• Manage food service customer orders from start to finish, ensuring timely fulfillment while maintaining food safety standards
• Maintain a clean and sanitized workspace by regularly cleaning counters, utensils, and equipment in compliance with sanitation guidelines
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and effectively to assist in food preparation and handling tasks
• Process cash transactions accurately, handle cash register operations, and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts

Qualifications

• Prior experience in food preparation or food service roles such as quick service or fast food restaurants is highly preferred
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to upsell and promote products confidently
• Knowledge of food safety management practices and sanitation standards
• Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy periods
• Basic math skills for cash handling, processing transactions, and inventory management
• Experience operating kitchen equipment and handling food with care and safety
• Previous retail sales or cashiering experience is advantageous but not required
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail

Pay: $15.75 - $16.00 per hour
