Full Time Dental Assistant / Receptionist

Wilston Dental Group is looking for a keen and motivated individual to join our team. This role offers a combination of dental assisting and reception duties, including patient care, chairside assisting, appointment scheduling, answering phones, processing accounts, greeting patients, and supporting the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice. If you are a dental assistant with an interest in reception duties, we will provide training for this role within a supportive environment. Wilston Dental Group values continuing education.

• Well-respected independently owned dental practice
• Full-time position worked over 4 days per week
• No late evenings or Saturdays

Your role at Wilston Dental Group

As a Dental Assistant at Wilston Dental Group, you will be an integral part of the day-to-day success of our practice. You will work alongside our experienced team members, who share a passion for the dental industry and patient care. Continuing education is valued within our team and support will be provided in this area as you learn all aspects of the role, whilst working within this kind, supportive and motivated team.

• Work with our Dentists to provide high-quality and compassionate patient care
• Preparation of treatment rooms and maintaining an organised surgery throughout the  working day
• Manage infection control and sterilisation standards within a safe and hygienic environment
• Actively participate in stock control, adhering to well-established procedures
• Processing of dental instruments and maintenance of dental equipment
• Helping to prepare appliances such as mouthguards and splints for our patients – training provided
• Welcome and assist patients, creating a warm and professional first impression
• Answer telephone enquiries and assist with appointment scheduling and patient communications
• Support reception and administrative duties as required, working collaboratively with our experienced front-office team

• Experience in dental assisting/dental reception duties will be highly regarded – we will continue to provide support and training in these areas of our practice.

• Strong time management and organisational skills
