Full Time Dishwasher

Position Summary

The dishwasher plays an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and efficiency of the Club’s kitchen and restaurant operations. This position supports the culinary team by ensuring all dishware, cookware, utensils, and kitchen equipment are properly cleaned and sanitized while maintaining a safe and organized work environment. The ideal candidate is dependable, hardworking, efficient, and team-oriented, with a strong commitment to hospitality and service.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment in accordance with Club standards.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary dishwashing area, including floors, workstations, sinks, and storage areas.
• Assist with general kitchen cleaning and upkeep as needed to support the culinary team.
• Properly dispose of trash and food waste, assist with recycling, and break down and dispose of cardboard boxes.
• Safely handle and transport heavy pots, pans, kitchen equipment, and other supplies; frequent lifting and physical activity are required.
• Ensure clean dishes, glassware, utensils, and equipment are properly stored and readily available to the culinary and service teams.
• Operate dishwashing and kitchen cleaning equipment safely and properly.
• Work efficiently and effectively during busy service periods, including nights, weekends, and special events.
• Follow all established health, safety, sanitation, and food safety procedures.
• Maintain a courteous, professional, and service-oriented attitude when interacting with guests and fellow team members.
• Work collaboratively with the culinary and restaurant teams to support smooth and efficient operations.
• Maintain all Club uniform and appearance standards, including wearing a clean, neat, and pressed uniform.
• Comply with all applicable regulations and standards, including those established by the Florida Division of Hotels & Restaurants and the Division of Alcoholic Beverages & Tobacco.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall success of the Club’s restaurant and culinary operations.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Previous experience in a restaurant, kitchen, hospitality, or stewarding environment preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to cleanliness and safety.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform frequent bending, lifting, carrying, and other physical activities.
• Ability to safely lift and handle heavy pots, pans, equipment, and supplies.
• Must be available to work nights, weekends, holidays, and special events as required.
• Strong teamwork, reliability, and communication skills.
