Heart's Home Daycare is a new Daycare facility that just opened and we are growing.

We are a Reggio-inspired, nature-based daycare seeking a Full Time and Part- Time Early Childhood Educator for our 12- 18 month old room and 4 Yr old room and Casual. Hours would fall between 8AM - 6:00 PM.

Responsibilities

• Implement educational activities that cater to diverse learning needs and developmental stages
• Support children’s social, emotional, and cognitive development through engaging interactions and play-based learning
• Maintain a safe, clean, and welcoming classroom environment by following health and safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with children, colleagues, families, and other stakeholders to ensure a cohesive educational experience
• Help organize classroom materials, resources, and activities to ensure smooth daily operations
• Changing Diapers
• Feeding children

Requirements

• Proficiency in English
• Experience working with children in educational or childcare settings is preferred
• Knowledge of child development principles, early childhood education practices, and special education needs
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, families, and team members
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage classroom activities efficiently
• Computer literacy for documentation, communication, and activity planning purposes
• Ability to work flexibly across various shifts as needed; previous classroom experience is advantageous
• Passion for teaching, leadership qualities, and a genuine interest in supporting children's growth and learning
• Enjoys spending time outdoors in all seasons

Qualifications:

• Early Childhood Educator certification Level 1,2 or,3 is a MUST
• Current First Aid & CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
• Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Search( current or willing to obtain)
• A genuine love of working with young children
