What they need
- Possesses a valid excavator license (Compulsory)
- Operate excavator machinery efficiently to carry out excavation and earthworks according to project requirements.
- Carry out digging, trenching, levelling, loading and soil removal works as directed by the site supervisor.
- Inspect the excavator and its attachments before use to ensure the machinery is in good working condition.
- Handle the excavator with proper care and precision to maintain safe and smooth operations at the worksite.
- Work closely with site personnel to ensure excavation activities are carried out according to the required levels, dimensions and work specifications.
- Monitor ground conditions and surrounding areas to identify potential hazards and prevent damage to nearby structures, equipment or utilities.
