Full-Time Groundskeeper

• Montgomery County Community College** invites applications for the **Full-Time Groundskeeper**. The Full-Time Groundskeeper creates and maintains the appearance of college grounds and building's exterior.

Education/Training/Work Experience **ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS:**

• High school diploma, GED, or 1-2 years of work-related experience required
• Valid PA Driver's License required

Specialized Knowledge & Skills

• Must be physically capable of performing all duties on job description
• Must work outdoors in all types of weather
• Proficient knowledge of and ability to operate tractors, mowers, dump trucks, and snow removal equipment
• Must be able to communicate effectively
• Acquiring and maintaining PA Pesticide License Category 23 throughout employment

Additional Information Required

• Ability to read, write, and follow routine instructions
• Ability to work within a team-oriented setting

Physical Requirements

• Must have a good sense of balance; required to work at various heights.
• Moderate physical strength is required.
• Common outdoor allergies should not inhibit job performance.
