Duties

• Greet guests warmly with genuine enthusiasm and a positive attitude, making them feel at home
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize flow and reduce wait times
• Provide accurate information about menu items, specials, and restaurant policies to guests
• Handle guest inquiries over the phone with professionalism, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service delivery and guest satisfaction
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host stand and waiting areas
• Use POS systems such as Micros POS to manage reservations, seating, and guest billing when necessary

Experience

• Previous experience in guest services or hospitality roles is highly preferred
• Serving or food service experience is beneficial for understanding restaurant operations
• Strong communication skills to interact effectively with guests, team members, and management
• Familiarity with restaurant POS systems like Micros POS enhances efficiency in daily tasks
• Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus but not required
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks calmly in a fast-paced setting
• Knowledge of customer service best practices and excellent phone etiquette

Pay: $16.75-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35.0 – 45.0 per week
