Schedule: Monday – Friday, day shift

Pay: $20.00 – $22.00 per hour

About the Role

Professional Bayway Management is seeking a dependable full-time Janitorial/Custodial Attendant for one of our managed condominium communities. In this role you’ll maintain the cleanliness and appearance of the clubhouse, common areas, and residential buildings. This is a hands-on, independent position for someone who takes pride in a property that looks and feels well cared for. You’ll work Monday through Friday and check in daily with the Property Manager for any added issues.

Daily Responsibilities

• Walk through the clubhouse interior to inspect for cleaning needs, remove trash, service the grill area, and sift ash trays
• Report maintenance concerns to management — leaks, burned-out lights, excessive wear, vandalism, defacing, and non-complying guests
• Sweep and spot-clean elevator cab floors and walls
• Clean and sanitize interior restrooms, shower areas, light fixtures, fans, drinking fountain, and fitness room
• Blow off the pool deck and areas surrounding the clubhouse entrance
• Clean bathrooms and laundry rooms in each building
• Service the pool area: clean furniture, walking mats, rinse and organize the deck, check bird lines
• Remove trash and recycling and clean waste bins
• Respond to emergency cleaning requests and restock soap, towels, and toilet paper

Weekly & Monthly Responsibilities

• Wash elevator floors and vacuum elevator tracks on all floors; wipe down cab walls including stainless steel
• Maintain cleanliness in and around laundry machines and countertops
• Blow clean the front clubhouse parking area
• Clean the Symbiont filter behind the pump room
• Clean and sanitize auditorium surfaces and floors; clean blinds, fans, and fan blades
• Keep janitorial closets organized, safe, and clean, and equipment in safe operable condition
• Maintain supply lists, inventory, and stock; check kitchen refrigerators and dispose of items as needed
• Check and replace clubhouse air filters

Quarterly & Annual Responsibilities

• Soapy wash of outdoor pool furniture, top and underside
• Spot touch-up painting and pressure washing of sidewalks as needed
• Inspect building storage rooms and sweep out clubhouse storage rooms
• Clean outside clubhouse light globes and fixtures
• Assist with stripping and waxing clubhouse and auditorium floors (August/September); buff floors as needed
• Check building bulletin boards for updates
• Complete non-routine cleaning according to specifications and maintain written procedures

Qualifications

• Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities cleaning experience preferred
• Able to work independently, follow a written task checklist, and document completed work
• Comfortable with physical work: lifting, bending, standing, and working outdoors in Florida weather
• Familiar with or willing to learn blowers, buffers, pressure washers, and pool deck equipment
• Reliable attendance and a professional, courteous manner with residents and guests
• Must pass a background check
