The Wensleydale Heifer is a multi-award-winning, 2 AA Rosette, 5-star restaurant with rooms, situated in the heart of the beautiful Yorkshire Dales.

We are a well-established, family-run business with a reputation for exceptional food, outstanding hospitality and a friendly, supportive working environment.

We are currently looking for a reliable, hardworking and enthusiastic Kitchen Porter to join our busy kitchen team.

The Role

As a Kitchen Porter, you will play an essential part in ensuring the smooth running of our kitchen, working alongside our talented chefs in a professional and fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities include:

• Maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the kitchen.
• Washing dishes, utensils and kitchen equipment.
• Supporting the chefs with basic food preparation when required.
• Ensuring kitchen areas are clean, tidy and well organised.
• Following food hygiene and health and safety procedures.
• Assisting with deliveries and general kitchen duties.

• The ability to work efficiently as part of a team.
• A willingness to learn and help wherever needed.
• Flexibility to work evenings and weekends.

Previous experience is preferred but not essential, as full training will be provided.
