Full-Time Licensed Pharmacy Technician

Tooley Drug and Home Care has an opening for a full-time Certified Pharmacy Technician who is eager to learn and work with a great team dedicated to serve our community. Applicants must have a high school diploma or equivalent, and be PTCB certified.

Required Work Hours:

Monday-Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
Saturday-Sunday: Closed

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Preparation of medications for patients
• Pricing and filling of prescriptions
• Obtaining pharmacist’s approval
• Completing patient paperwork related to the filling of prescription
• Assisting with insurance claims processing
• Stocking and pricing of medications in inventory
• Maintaining pharmacy’s (and its patients’ employees’) safety by adhering to infection-control procedures, policies and regulations
• Intake of written and electronic prescriptions
• Billing insurance
• Compounding various topical creams/ointments, as well as oral liquids
• Accurately counting and dispensing medications
• Assisting customers with the purchase of their medications and other goods

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
