Southern Health Partners is looking for a dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our healthcare team at the Troup County Jail.

Correctional nursing offers something different from the traditional hospital environment. You'll provide hands-on care to an underserved population while working in a structured, secure setting with a consistent facility and clinical team.

What You'll Do

Provide direct nursing care to patients in a safe and secure correctional setting
Administer medications and treatments according to prescribed orders
Perform nursing assessments and monitor patient conditions
Respond to routine and urgent healthcare needs
Recognize changes in patient condition and take appropriate action
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
Communicate and collaborate with the healthcare team
Provide professional, compassionate care while maintaining appropriate boundaries

What We're Looking For

✔️ Current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in the state of Georgia
✔️ Current CPR certification
✔️ Previous correctional healthcare or nursing experience preferred, but not required
✔️ Strong clinical judgment and communication skills
✔️ Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team
✔️ Dependable and professional approach to patient care
✔️ Commitment to providing quality healthcare in a secure environment
