Full Time Line/Prep Cook

HI! We are a small neighborhood pub looking for an experienced closing cook to join our team!

Now let me be clear, although we are a pub, we do NOT have any fried foods, No fryer, no microwave, no pre made heat up anything! This is a role designed for a cook who enjoys actually cooking. Not re-heating, or adding water, haha. Not that anything is wrong with that. It's just not our style. Each shift will consist of not only grilling, plating and working a line, but also stocking and prepping in between orders. As we all know there is a lull between services and its important everyone knows how to prep and clean to fill the downtime.

Everything is scratch made in house... sauces, flat breads, brisket, meatballs, all of it. So the ability to follow a recipe along with knife skills is essential.

The ideal candidate prides themselves on being self motivated, hard working, CLEAN and a team player. Attention to detail is a must and having at least 2 years experience in a kitchen is required.

We have a small kitchen and a small menu, but BIG IDEAS and have a team of creative thinkers and hard workers. We support each other and set each other up for success, so we can go home and do what REALLY matters.

We focus on having a positive environment, and positive people, who just simply love food. That means we are professionals with passion for our work, who stand behind our product and give only the best to our customers.

We are closed by 10, so no long nights.

Pay Day is every Saturday.

You'll receive your tips directly on your check from the average of the your food sales for the week. Meaning the busier you are, the more you directly make.

Everyone gets two days off consecutively, always, and 4/10's are an option for the right candidate.

There is much room for growth and we thrive on creative input.

Pay: $21.00 - $23.00 per hour
