Full-Time Optical Assistant

RH Wynne Opticians is looking for a friendly, reliable and motivated Optical Assistant to join our practice in Finsbury Park, London.

Key responsibilities:

• Welcoming patients and providing excellent customer service
• Booking and managing appointments
• Helping patients choose suitable frames
• Taking basic frame and lens measurements
• Adjusting and repairing spectacles
• Processing orders and maintaining accurate patient records
• Answering telephone calls and responding to enquiries
• Taking payments and performing general administrative duties
• Keeping the practice clean, organised and presentable

Requirements:

• Previous optical experience is preferred
• Excellent communication and customer-service skills
• Confident using computers and completing administrative tasks
• Reliable, organised and able to work well within a team
• Friendly and professional manner
• Training may be provided to a suitable candidate

Job details:

• Position: Full-time
• Working days: Five days per week, to be discussed at the interview.
• Working hours: 9:30 am–6:00 pm
• Break: 30 minutes unpaid
• Paid hours: 40 hours per week
• Salary: £12.71
• Expected start date: 14 September 2026
• Location: Finsbury Park, London

Pay: £12.71 per hour
