Summary

We are seeking a dedicated Full Time Optical Assistant to join our team in Langley. In this role, you will support our optometrists and assist customers in selecting eyewear, ensuring they receive exceptional service. Your contribution will help us maintain our reputation for quality care and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients with their eyewear needs in a friendly and professional manner.
• Support optometrists with patient preparations and optical procedures.
• Manage the dispensary, including fitting and adjusting glasses.
• Provide product knowledge and recommend suitable eyewear options.
• Maintain accurate patient records and manage inventory.
• Educate patients on eyewear care and lens options.
• Ensure the dispensary is clean, organized, and compliant with health standards.
• Qualifications
• Proven experience in optical or retail sales environment.
• Knowledge of medical terminology related to eye care.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly demeanor.
• Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
• Basic laboratory skills or experience are a plus.
• Familiarity with optical software such as Visual Eyes is advantageous.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Attention to detail and organizational skills.

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30.0 – 40.0 per week
