Full-Time Receptionist – Carolina Vision

Carolina Vision is looking for a friendly, dependable, and caring Full-Time Receptionist to join our growing practice!

Our practice has two locations, with the primary location for this position being our Candler office. Occasional coverage at our West Asheville office may be needed.

No previous experience in an eye-care or optical office is required. We’re looking for someone with a warm personality, a positive attitude, and a genuine desire to help people. If you enjoy working with others and making a difference in their day, we’d love to meet you!

What You'll Do

• Welcome and warmly greet patients as they arrive
• Answer phones and schedule patient appointments
• Assist patients with obtaining and verifying vision insurance information
• Participate in weekly team meetings
• Learn and assist with other areas of the practice through cross-training
• Help create a welcoming, positive experience for every patient

What We're Looking For

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
• Willing to learn new skills and step into different roles when needed
• Comfortable using computers and learning new software
• High school diploma or equivalent

No prior optical or eye-office experience is necessary—we are happy to train the right person!

Schedule & Benefits

We offer a family-friendly schedule:

• Monday, Wednesday & Thursday: 9:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Tuesday: 10:00 AM–7:00 PM
• Friday: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM
• Occasional Saturday support may be needed at our West Asheville office from 9:00 AM–1:00 PM, as well as on Saturdays following major holiday closures. Hours may vary based on office needs.
