Position Overview

KRE Security, LLC is hiring a dependable Full-Time Gate Security Officer for a Full-Time Overnight assignment in Reading, PA. This is a permanent, stable post focused on access control, facility monitoring, and maintaining a professional security presence.

This role is ideal for reliable individuals who are detail-oriented, professional, and comfortable working in a structured gatehouse environment.

Schedule

• Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday
• 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• Consistent full-time schedule
• Permanent assignment

What You’ll Be Doing

• Monitor and control access at the facility gate
• Verify identification for employees, visitors, and vendors
• Approve and deny entry based on site protocols
• Maintain accurate logs of all incoming and outgoing traffic
• Provide professional communication with all visitors and personnel
• Conduct periodic checks of the gate area and surrounding property
• Observe, report, and document any safety or security concerns
• Respond to incidents or unusual activity according to post orders
• Complete daily activity and incident reports using assigned systems
• Maintain a professional appearance and customer service mindset at all times

Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Strong communication and customer service skills
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Ability to remain alert and attentive for extended periods
• Ability to sit, stand, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Security experience preferred but not required
• Must pass a background check
• Reliable attendance and punctuality required

Compensation & Benefits
