Full job description:

Pia Ristorante, located in West Byfleet, is looking for an experienced and passionate chef, with a special expertise for pizza and pasta. The ideal candidate will collaborate alongside our Head chef and lead the kitchen team in absence of our Head chef. Bringing passion, creativity, and excellence to our new Italian restaurant. Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Head chef to ensure an outstanding culinary experience.
• Develop new dishes.
• Oversee the preparation and presentation of exceptional dishes with a special focus on pizza, pasta, meat and fish.
• Manage kitchen operations while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.
• Handle kitchen budgeting, including understanding costs and maximising profits.
• Support the head chef to work with local suppliers to ensure the purchase of high-quality ingredients.

**Requirements:**

• A minimum of 1 years experience as a chef in an Italian restaurant.
• Passion for quality food/Italian cuisine.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, capable of working under pressure.
• Customer-focused mindset and attention to quality and detail.
• Team spirit and dedication.
• Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations.
• Right to work in the UK is a must.

Work location: On- site at Pia Ristorante, West Byfleet

Pay: £17.00-£18.50 per hour
