Full Time/ Part Time Housekeeper

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces using appropriate cleaning techniques and equipment
• Handle various cleaning agents and chemicals safely, adhering to safety data sheets (SDS) and industry standards
• Vacuum carpets, sweep and mop floors, and care for different floor surfaces to ensure a spotless environment
• Manage heavy lifting tasks when moving furniture or large supplies, following proper manual handling procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of bathrooms, kitchens, and other high-touch areas to meet sanitation standards
• Follow hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to ensure a secure environment for guests and staff
• Use janitorial equipment efficiently, including vacuums, floor buffers, and cleaning tools, to deliver exceptional results

Skills

• Proven experience in hotel housekeeping management or custodial roles with strong attention to detail
• Expertise in floor care techniques such as stripping, sealing, waxing, and polishing floors
• Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety standards for self and others
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members
• Knowledge of hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols to respond effectively in urgent situations
• Strong physical stamina for manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and prolonged standing or walking
• Familiarity with industrial cleaning practices and janitorial equipment operation to ensure high-quality cleanliness standards
