Description

• We are seeking a qualified, licensed, and customer-oriented Community Pharmacist to join our team on a full-time basis.
• The successful candidate will be responsible for dispensing medications, providing professional pharmaceutical care, counseling patients on the safe use of medicines, and ensuring compliance with relevant pharmaceutical regulations and standards.
• The ideal candidate should have strong pharmaceutical knowledge, excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

• Dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately and safely.
• Review prescriptions to ensure appropriate dosage, drug interactions, contraindications, and patient safety
• Counsel patients on the proper use of medications, possible side effects, dosage, and storage.
• Recommend suitable over-the-counter medications for minor ailments within the scope of professional practice.
• Monitor medication inventory, check expiry dates, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products.
• Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, controlled medicines, sales, and other pharmacy transactions.
• Ensure compliance with applicable pharmacy laws, professional ethics, and regulatory requirements

Requirements

• Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) or Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D) degree from a recognized institution.
• 3 years of post NYSC experience in community or retail pharmacy
• Current registration and valid practicing license with the Pharmacists Council of Nigeria (PCN).
• Strong knowledge of prescription medications, OTC products, drug interactions, and pharmaceutical care.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• High level of accuracy, integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Salary

N350,000 - N400,000 monthly.
