Full time Pharmacy Technician

Job Summary
Join our dynamic healthcare team is looking for a reliable and meticulous Full-Time Pharmacy Technician. In this vital role, you will assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications, managing patient intake, and provide excellent customer service to our patients.

Duties

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the supervision of licensed pharmacists.
• Assist with medication intake processes, verifying prescriptions and ensuring proper documentation for patient records.
• Provide excellent patient service by answering questions, explaining medication instructions, and supporting medication adherence.
• Manage inventory levels, restock supplies, and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals according to safety standards.
• Enter and process prescription orders accurately in the system
• Handle insurance claims, prior authorizations, and rejections
• Manage inventory, including ordering, stocking, and expiration checks
• Provide courteous and professional customer service
• Maintain compliance with all pharmacy laws and regulations
• Support daily pharmacy workflow and administrative tasks

Requirements

• Proven pharmacy technician experience with a focus on LTC pharmacy preferred.
• Certification as a pharmacy technician in accordance with state or national regulations is preferred
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology
• Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
• Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
• Bilingual skills are a plus

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
