Pharmacy Technician – Full-Time

We are seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented, and compassionate Pharmacy Technician to join our team at PureCare Pharmacy. Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and dispense medications accurately under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist, with a strong emphasis on patient safety and individualized needs.

• Manage prescription intake, process refills, handle transfers, and maintain efficient inventory control while ensuring proper storage of pharmaceuticals in compliance with all safety and regulatory standards.

• Deliver exemplary, compassionate patient service by addressing inquiries, providing clear medication education and instructions, and facilitating seamless medication administration processes.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of medication dispensing, patient interactions, and pharmacy activities to ensure full regulatory compliance and continuity of high-quality care.

• Collaborate closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to streamline workflows, resolve prior authorizations efficiently, and promote optimal patient health outcomes through personalized support.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a retail pharmacy setting.

• Comprehensive knowledge of retail pharmacy operations, including prescription processing, inventory management, medication safety standards, and point-of-sale systems.

• Solid understanding of medical terminology and medication administration protocols relevant to community and retail practice.

• Outstanding patient service skills, with a demonstrated commitment to compassionate, empathetic communication, active listening, and meticulous attention to detail.

• Certification as a Pharmacy Technician (e.g., PTCB or equivalent) is required; additional certifications in retail pharmacy, immunizations, or patient-centered services are advantageous.
