Full Time RBT/Behavior Therapist

Job Title: RBT/Behavior Therapist – Up to 30 hours with a 2 year old client in-home

Brighter Futures ABA provides compassionate, personalized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services for children and their families across New Jersey. Our BCBA-led team focuses on individualized, functional goals and real-world application. We are looking for a dedicated and caring Behavior Therapist to join our team and make a positive difference in children’s lives.

Position Overview

As a Behavior Therapist (BT), you will work directly with children with autism and related developmental disabilities in their homes, implementing treatment plans developed and supervised by a BCBA. You will receive training and ongoing support to help you succeed in your role.

Responsibilities:

• Implement individualized ABA treatment plans under BCBA supervision.
• Collect and record accurate data on client progress during each session.
• Use positive reinforcement and evidence-based strategies to teach skills.
• Support clients in improving communication, social skills, daily living skills, and behavior regulation.
• Communicate effectively with parents/guardians and the supervising BCBA.
• Follow all company policies and professional guidelines.

Qualifications

Required:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience working with children (ABA experience preferred, but not required—training provided).
• Patience, reliability, and strong communication skills.
• Ability to pass background check.
• Reliable transportation to client homes in the Toms River area.

Preferred:

• Registered Behavior Technician Certification
• Teacher certification, early childhood education background, or related field experience

Schedule & Pay

• Full time: 5 days a week
• Competitive pay: 25-35 $ per hour(based on education and experience).
