Duties

• Greet customers warmly and provide outstanding customer service to enhance their shopping experience
• Operate the cash register (POS system), handle retail sales transactions accurately, and manage cash drawer procedures with integrity
• Assist customers with product inquiries, recommend upselling opportunities, and conduct product demonstrations to showcase features and benefits
• Stock shelves, organize merchandise, and ensure the store displays are attractive and well-maintained through effective merchandising
• Maintain phone etiquette when assisting customers via phone or online inquiries, ensuring clear communication at all times
• Support inventory management by stocking products, conducting stock counts, and assisting with inventory replenishment
• Facilitate retail sales by applying basic math skills for transactions, handling returns or exchanges, and processing payments efficiently

Requirements

• Previous experience in retail sales or grocery store environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is key!
• Familiarity with POS systems, cash register operations, and retail math is highly desirable
• Demonstrated supervising experience or leadership skills are a plus for those interested in growth opportunities
• Bilingual abilities are appreciated to serve diverse customer needs effectively
• Strong communication skills with excellent phone etiquette and customer service orientation
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for sales transactions and cash handling procedures
• Knowledge of retail store product details, merchandising techniques, and grocery store operations enhances your fit for this role
