Barker Animation Art Galleries & Collectibles is looking for an enthusiastic, outgoing, and customer-focused Full-Time Sales Associate to join our team at our Foxwoods Tanger Outlets location.

Every day is different as you help guests discover incredible artwork, limited-edition collectibles, and unique gifts while providing an exceptional shopping experience.

This is more than a retail position, as it is an opportunity to create memorable experiences for visitors from around the world.

What You’ll Do

• Welcome every guest with a friendly, engaging attitude.
• Build relationships with customers and provide personalized recommendations.
• Educate visitors about our artwork, artists, collectibles, and exclusive merchandise.
• Process sales accurately using our point-of-sale system.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and visually appealing sales floor.
• Assist with merchandising, inventory, and gallery displays.
• Help create an inviting atmosphere that encourages guests to explore and return.
• Work collaboratively with your team to achieve sales goals while delivering outstanding customer service.

What We’re Looking For

• Positive, energetic personality with excellent communication skills.
• Passion for delivering exceptional customer service.
• At least 1 year of retail, sales, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable initiating conversations and engaging with guests from diverse backgrounds.
• Basic computer proficiency including Microsoft Office and POS systems.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Reliable, dependable, and able to work independently and as a part of a team.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 30 pounds.
• Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
