  You don’t need prior hardware or retail experience, what matters most is a love of helping people and a great attitude. However, if you’ve worked in hardware or retail before, that experience will help you hit the ground running.

  We post schedules once a week in advance, and they rarely change so you can count on consistency. You’ll work two weekday closing shifts and one weekend day each week, making it easier to plan around family, school, or other commitments.

• Wage Range: $15.00–$17.50 per hour (depending on experience).

What You’ll Do

• Greet customers, listen to their needs, and recommend the right products or solutions (paint, plumbing supplies, décor, garden items, etc.).
• Move between departments—hardware, seasonal, paint, and garden, helping wherever the store needs you.
• Keep shelves stocked, displays neat, and signage accurate so customers can shop confidently.
• Occasionally assist at the register or help load items into customer vehicles.

Who You Are

• You enjoy talking with people and finding practical solutions to their questions or problems.
• You learn new information quickly, ask questions when you’re unsure, and aren’t afraid to make small mistakes as you learn.
• You work well with others and help out in different areas of the store without waiting to be asked.
• You’re reliable, showing up for your scheduled daily shifts.
• You can lift up to 50 lbs. safely and stay on your feet for most of an nine-hour shift.
