Duties

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them through the dining experience with enthusiasm and professionalism
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Micros POS, ensuring efficient processing and timely delivery
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks with precision, maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and presentation
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering responsibilities
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in compliance with food safety regulations and restaurant policies
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate timely food preparation and ensure guest requests are fulfilled promptly
• Manage multiple tables efficiently through effective time management skills while providing attentive guest services

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments with strong knowledge of the food industry standards
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS for order entry and cashiering functions
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic approach to guest interactions
• Strong understanding of food safety protocols, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to perform basic math accurately for billing, change calculation, and inventory management
• Effective time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours without compromising service quality
• Experience in upselling menu items to enhance guest experience and increase revenue opportunities
• Knowledge of food preparation processes and kitchen operations is a plus but not required
