Full Time Server

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and personable Full Time Server to join our dynamic restaurant team. The ideal candidate will provide exceptional guest service in a fine dining environment, ensuring each guest has a memorable experience. This role involves taking orders, serving food and beverages, and maintaining a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our commitment to hospitality excellence. Prior experience in food service, hospitality, or related fields is preferred, especially with fine dining or nightclub settings. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tables efficiently while upholding food safety and sanitation standards.

Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive service throughout their dining experience
• Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Toast POS.
• Upsell menu items and suggest wine pairings to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring presentation quality and proper food handling procedures
• Handle cash transactions accurately and process payments via POS systems with cash handling expertise
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations; assist with bussing tables as needed
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special dietary requests
• Uphold food safety standards, sanitation protocols, and proper food preparation practices
• Engage with guests to foster positive guest relations and address any concerns professionally
• Support other restaurant operations such as host/hostess duties or assisting in kitchen tasks when necessary

Skills

• Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings
• Proficiency with POS systems including Toast POS, Micros POS, cash handling skills required
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and ensure guest satisfaction
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members
• Ability to upsell menu items confidently to maximize sales opportunities
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
• Effective time management skills to serve multiple tables efficiently during busy hours
• Basic math skills for accurate billing and cash transactions
• Experience in culinary arts, food preparation, or kitchen operations is a plus but not mandatory
• Familiarity with nightclub or hospitality environments is advantageous
