Job Overview
We are looking for dedicated and results-driven Café Shift Lead to lead store operations, coach team members, and deliver an exceptional guest experience. The ideal candidate is a strong leader with a passion for food service, team development, and driving sales performance through operational excellence and upselling.

Key Responsibilities

Operations & Cost Management

• Oversee all daily store operations, ensuring efficiency, cleanliness, and quality control.
• Monitor and control labor and food costs to meet profitability targets.
• Track inventory levels and place orders to maintain optimal stock.

Team Leadership & Training

• Train, and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
• Manage team performance evaluations.
• Coach staff on upselling techniques and service standards to enhance sales and customer experience.

Customer Experience & Sales Growth

• Lead by example in delivering excellent customer service and resolving guest concerns.
• Drive product knowledge and upselling strategies to increase average ticket size.
• Implement promotional campaigns and support new product launches.
• Monitor customer reviews and ensure prompt follow-up on feedback.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management experience in a café or fast-casual food service setting.
• Barista experience required; bubble tea or dessert café experience is a plus.
• Food Manager Certification required.
• Strong communication, leadership, and conflict-resolution skills.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Flexibility to work weekdays, weekends, evenings, and holidays.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
