As a Full-TIme Speech Language Pathologist at Avir at Lufkin, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population in a state-of-the-art setting. The SLP is responsible for providing high-quality speech therapy services to patients with varying communication disorders, including speech, language, and cognitive impairments.

About the Role:

• Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans to achieve patient goals
• Utilize clinical expertise to evaluate and diagnose patients with communication disorders
• Provide both individual and group therapy sessions, incorporating evidence-based practices and strategies to promote patient progress
• Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless communication and continuity of care
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient progress, consultations, and treatment plans

Responsibilities:

• Conduct initial evaluations and assessments to identify patient communication needs
• Develop and implement treatment plans tailored to patient goals and needs
• Provide speech therapy sessions, incorporating various techniques and strategies
• Monitor and record patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities to stay current with industry best practices
