Full-time Special Needs Nanny

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated, energetic, and experienced Full-Time Nanny to provide attentive one-on-one care for a child with special needs. The child is slightly nonverbal and experiences physical balance challenges, so we are looking for someone who is strong, active, patient, and comfortable providing hands-on support throughout the day.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM. Additional overtime hours are available.

Responsibilities

• Provide attentive, loving care tailored to the child’s individual needs, safety, and development
• Administer and manage G-tube feedings safely and confidently
• Provide appropriate physical support and assistance due to balance and mobility challenges
• Plan and participate in engaging, developmentally appropriate activities
• Encourage communication, independence, and developmental progress through daily interaction and play
• Assist with meals, personal care, and daily routines
• Maintain a clean and organized environment, including light housekeeping related to the child
• Transport the child as needed and ensure safe transportation at all times
• Handle minor health or safety concerns calmly and professionally
• Communicate closely with parents regarding the child’s routine, progress, needs, and any concerns

Requirements

• Previous G-tube feeding experience is required
• Previous experience caring for children with special needs
• Must be physically capable of providing hands-on support to a child with balance and mobility challenges
• Current CPR certification
• Current flu vaccination
• Valid driver’s license
• Clean driving record
• Reliable transportation
• Ability to pass a background check
• Career nanny experience preferred
• Patient, dependable, active, and comfortable working closely with parents

We are looking for a nanny who is confident with specialized care while also bringing warmth, energy, and patience to the child’s everyday routine. This is a long-term, full-time opportunity with additional overtime available for the right candidate.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
