Full-Time Story Editor (Multiple Languages)

Hopwriter is looking for detail-oriented and responsible Editors to join our Editorial Team!

Languages: French, German, Italian, Russian, Arabic, and Indonesian

This is a full-time remote position open to candidates worldwide. We are looking for candidates with strong language skills, a good understanding of popular web novel trends, and a passion for storytelling and helping authors grow.

🌟 Key Responsibilities

• Book Advertisement Copywriting: Write engaging, market-oriented promotional copy for web novels to be used in images or videos on social media platforms.
• Content Editing & Proofreading: Edit and proofread content in the target language to ensure linguistic accuracy, cultural appropriateness, emotional clarity, and compliance with platform standards.
• Manuscript Review & Basic Feedback: Review manuscripts and provide clear, practical editorial feedback focused on readability, pacing, and story clarity.
• Author Communication & Coordination: Communicate with authors in a professional, patient, and empathetic manner, helping them improve story structure, pacing, and reader appeal.
• Content Team Collaboration: Work closely with other editors and content team members on content strategy, content optimization, and special projects.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular content checks and audits to maintain content quality and ensure compliance with platform guidelines.

📝 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or above, any field;
• Proficiency in the target language at a native or near-native level;
• Able to communicate in English for daily work and collaboration;
• Experience as a web novel author is preferred;
• Familiarity with web novels and online fiction platforms;
• Strong sensitivity to language, narrative flow, and emotional tone;
• Solid editing and proofreading skills with strong attention to detail;
• Full-time remote position, open to candidates worldwide.

Priority will be given to Hopwriter authors.

⏰ Work Schedule

Fully remote, with approximately 6–8 working hours per day. Working hours are flexible and can be arranged according to your schedule.
