Role Description The Full-Time Supervisor at Spartina 449 in Asheville, NC is an on-site retail leadership role responsible for overseeing daily store operations and supporting an exceptional customer experience. This role includes coaching and guiding team members, coordinating schedules, and ensuring that visual merchandising and product presentation align with brand standards. The Supervisor will assist with opening and closing procedures, cash handling, inventory management, and loss prevention. In collaboration with store leadership, this position helps drive sales, meets key performance goals, and promotes brand storytelling that reflects Spartina 449’s coastal heritage. The Supervisor also supports onboarding and training, fosters a positive and inclusive work environment, and serves as a role model for service and professionalism.

Qualifications

• Retail supervision and leadership skills, including team coaching, performance feedback, and staff scheduling.
• Customer service and sales skills, with the ability to build relationships, engage guests, and achieve sales targets.
• Operational skills such as cash handling, inventory management, and adherence to store policies and procedures.
• Visual merchandising and brand presentation skills to maintain appealing, on-brand product displays.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience in retail or hospitality; specialty or fashion retail experience is highly beneficial.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, move merchandise, and work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
