Full-Time Tax Technician

Taylor Leibow LLP is a full-service Chartered Professional Accounting firm located in Hamilton, Ontario. For over 75 years, Taylor Leibow has served a diverse set of clients and is one of the largest independent CPA firms in the Hamilton and Burlington regions.

Taylor Leibow is looking for a full-time Tax Technician. The expected salary range for this position is $42,000 – $75,000.

The ideal candidate possesses the following:

• University Degree or College Diploma in accounting or a related field;
• A minimum of 1 to 2 years’ experience in an accounting role or bookkeeping role;
• Experience in preparing Canadian personal and corporate tax returns an asset;
• Good communication skills;
• Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office; and
• Ability to work within a team environment

Job Responsibilities:

The responsibilities of the Tax Technician include preparing income tax returns (personal and corporate), trust returns, T4’s, T5’s, partnership returns and other tax compliance services.
