Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in implementing daily lesson plans across subjects such as literacy, math, and social skills, ensuring activities are engaging and age-appropriate.
• Support classroom management by helping maintain a positive, disciplined environment conducive to learning and development.
• Provide individualized attention to children, including those with special needs or disabilities, to promote inclusive learning experiences.
• Help organize classroom materials, educational resources, and activities aligned with curriculum development standards like Montessori or preschool frameworks.
• Supervise children during indoor and outdoor activities, meal times, rest periods, and transitions to ensure safety at all times.
• Collaborate with teachers on behavior management strategies and progress tracking for each student’s growth milestones.
• Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding children’s daily experiences and developmental progress.

Experience

• Prior experience working with children in childcare settings such as daycare centers, preschools, or private schools is highly valued.
• Demonstrated knowledge of early childhood education principles, including childhood development theories and curriculum implementation.
• Experience supporting students with diverse needs, including individuals with autism or disabilities, is preferred.
• Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies to foster a positive learning environment.
• Technical proficiency with educational tools and classroom technology to enhance lesson delivery.
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with teaching staff and support team members in an educational setting.
• Background in preschool teaching, toddler care, or early childhood education programs such as Montessori or preschool experience is advantageous.
