We are seeking a motivated and friendly Full/Part-time Bakery Assistant to join our team. Duties

• Greet and assist customers with a friendly and professional attitude
• Operate the cash register, handle cashier work efficiently and accurately
• Talk to customers to answer questions and provide recommendations
• Pack and label bread and baked goods with attention to detail
• Prepare simple foods such as sandwiches, bagels, and pizzas according to established recipes and standards
• Assist in preparing orders for customers, ensuring timely and accurate service
• Support baking staff with basic tasks as needed, with opportunities to learn more advanced baking techniques over time
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery workspace, adhering to safety standards

Skills

• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor when engaging with customers
• Basic cashiering experience or comfort operating a cash register
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
• Willingness to learn new skills related to baking and food preparation
• Basic food handling knowledge; ability to follow safety and hygiene protocols

Pay: $13.00 - $20.00 per hour
