Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and provide attentive, friendly service throughout their visit
• Take food and beverage orders accurately using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
• Serve food and drinks promptly while ensuring proper food handling and sanitation standards are maintained
• Handle cash transactions accurately, including cashiering and cash handling duties
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, dining areas, and service stations in compliance with food safety regulations
• Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely food preparation and delivery
• Manage guest inquiries professionally, providing excellent guest services and resolving issues efficiently
• Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting overall restaurant operations
• Practice effective time management to balance multiple tables and responsibilities during busy hours

Requirements

• Prior food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred; familiarity with the food industry is a plus
• Knowledge of POS systems, especially Micros POS, is advantageous
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to handle food safely, including proper sanitation and food handling procedures
• Basic math skills for cashiering, math calculations, and cash handling tasks
• Experience in food preparation or kitchen environments is beneficial but not mandatory
• Demonstrated time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during shifts
