About the role

We are seeking a Full-Set Accountant to join the finance team at Swat Aircond. This is a full-time position based in Pandan Indah, Selangor. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the complete accounting cycle, from recording transactions through to preparing financial statements. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, supporting the company's financial planning and decision-making processes.

What you'll be doing

• Recording and processing all financial transactions, including invoices, expenses, and payments
• Maintaining general ledger accounts and ensuring all entries are accurate and properly documented
• Reconciling bank statements and resolving any discrepancies
• Preparing journal entries and posting transactions to the appropriate accounts
• Assisting in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
• Conducting regular account reconciliations to ensure accuracy
• Preparing financial reports and analysis for management review
• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards and company financial policies
• Maintaining organised financial records and documentation
• Supporting the audit process by providing necessary documentation and clarifications
• Assisting with payroll processing and related accounting entries

What we're looking for

• Diploma or higher qualification in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven experience as an Accounts Officer, Accounts Clerk, or similar accounting role, preferably handling full accounting cycles
• Strong proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel
• Solid understanding of accounting principles, practices, and standards
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in financial record-keeping
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• Ability to meet deadlines whilst maintaining accuracy
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Reliability and professional integrity
• Experience with GST or sales tax compliance is advantageous
• Knowledge of payroll administration is a plus
