Position Overview

We are seeking a Senior Software Developer to contribute to the Global Trade Compliance engineering program.

The role involves designing, developing, testing, deploying, and supporting scalable cloud-native applications, enterprise integrations, and workflows.

The technology stack includes Java, Node.js, Python, AWS, REST/SOAP APIs, CI/CD, Oracle, Snowflake, and Salesforce.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain scalable cloud-native applications and services.
• Develop backend services and APIs using Java and Node.js.
• Develop frontend and full-stack application components as required.
• Build integrations with enterprise applications using REST/SOAP APIs.
• Design and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS Code Pipeline.
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using AWS CDK.
• Develop automated unit, integration, and E2E tests.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues independently.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and observability using Splunk and Dynatrace.
• Work with business and engineering stakeholders to translate requirements into technical solutions.
• Apply engineering best practices for security, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
• Maintain technical documentation for architecture, design, deployment, and operational procedures.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with full-stack software development.
• Strong experience with Java and Node.js.
• Experience developing frontend applications and backend services.
• Strong experience with AWS and cloud-native application development.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and production deployment.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably AWS CDK.
• Experience with REST APIs.
• Experience with databases and SQL.
• Experience developing automated tests and debugging production issues.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Snowflake.
• Data Engineering / Analytics experience, including event instrumentation, ETL/data pipelines, and analytics.
• Experience with Salesforce integrations.
• Experience with Oracle databases.
• Experience with OWS/OEDQ.
• Experience with AI/ML or Generative AI.
